My experience to Tra Que Vegetable Village in Hoi An, Vietnam

17/01/2020 1.164 Views
How exciting I was on the tour to Tra Que Village Hoi An Vietnam to go through these days as a real farmer. Up to now, the memory about these green organic gardens and the dish Three Friends Spring Onion Rolls still prods me to come back one day.

1. The location of Tra Que Vegetable Village

On searching for places to visit in Hoi An, I was really impressed with a bike tour to Tra Que Vegetable Village. It is introduced an eco-village in which the locals specify in growing organic vegetables. In the ancient town, I have tried a lot of food specialties typical for the land, and really curious about the herb diversities there. These vegetables make food much more attractive with a gentle odor and fresh green color.

Therefore, I decided to admire in person the village to enjoy a fresh atmosphere and learn about these farmers. Tra Que Vegetable Village is 2 kilometers far from Hoi An ancient town, on the side of De Vong River. It is in Cam Ha Commune, Hoi An.

2. Turn to be a farmer in Tra Que Vegetable Village

First, I had a walk around these fresh vegetable fields freely. I also saw some other tourists discovering Tra Que Vegetable Village by bicycle. It is great to immerse yourself in the open atmosphere with blue sky above and green vegetables under your foot. Especially, a gentle flavor spreading around the attraction can refresh your mind as essential vegetable oil.

On having a chat with the locals, I have learned more about the lifestyle there, also get impressed by their love for the village. Although the attraction is simple with local tourism resources, I have relaxing moments and get more energy to love life. Interestingly, there is a local festival on 7th January in the Lunar Calendar when they pray for moderate temperatures, longer days, more sunshine, and favorable rains...

3. Take part in Tra Que Vegetable Village cooking class

The most exciting experience, in my opinion, is in the cooking class. Hoi An is famous for a wide range of food specialties. I have learned to cook by myself, at home. But it can not bring about the right taste. It may come from the ingredients. The vegetables that play an important role in Vietnamese food, especially in this area. The locals said that some of them can not be grown in other regions apart from Hoi An. The class gave me a lot of happy moments with the local cooks as well as other friends.

The most famous dish in Tra Que Vegetable Village Vietnam is "Three friends". According to the locals, it relates to three main ingredients including boiled meat, shrimp, and vegetables. Green onions are parboiled to remove their acridity, just keep the gently smooth and sweet flavor. And when they are combined with other ingredients, a perfect taste will catch your attraction immediately. Besides, other specialties in Hoi An also served for your discovery.

It can be said that the tour to Tra Que Vegetable Village is one of the most impressive journeys in Vietnam. It is not anything luxurious but can meet my expectation to relax and regain energy, just by coming close to nature and meet cute friends. After leaving the attraction, I continued to other Hoi An Vietnam top attractions like Cua Dai beach Hoi An.
