Tours of Angkor Wat

Angkor Complex is one of the most beautiful and unique historical relics in the world left by ancient Khmer. Over thousands of years of history, Angkor's temples contain many stories for beautiful feet, eyes that are always looking for. Since the 9th century, the architects and the talented workers of this place have created a great architectural complex, with 600 works scattered in a dense forest area of 45 km2.

The entire architectural complex with towers, temples, reliefs and immense corridors is made of boulders, stacked on top of each other, looking very natural, even on top of the arch. Patterns decorated with stones such as Buddha, dancers, warriors and lotus flowers illustrate the epic Ramayana and Mahabharata are very lively and soft. Angkor populations are in the South - North dimension of 1,400 m long, and East - West 800 m. A deep and wide trench of water running around with lots of waterlots makes the atmosphere in Angkor more close. To Angkor, everyone wants to explore the temples and especially watch the sunset or dawn this place.

3. Great city of Preah Khan

Preah Khan, built in the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII, is a temple in Angkor, Cambodia. This temple is located in Northeast Angkor Thom and just west of Jayatataka Baray. Preah Khan is less interested in tourists, because its location is quite far from the center of Angkor. Preah Khan was forgotten in the old forest and surrounded by ancient trees. When excavating the site, the World Monuments Fund organization decided to keep the entire original state of the temple in ruins. That gives the area a temple with a very ancient, sanctuary, sacred and wild atmosphere, which gives visitors of Angkor Wat tour a hard-to-describe feeling.

It is said that Banteay Kdei is a Buddhist monastery with hundreds of Buddha statues excavated from this site. The temple was probably built in the 12th century, around the same time as Ta Prohm temple. The design of the temple is quite similar to Ta Prohm and Preah Khan but less complicated and smaller in scale. After the collapse of the Khmer empire, it was still forgotten and covered by vegetational cover for centuries.

Lake Srah Srang is an artificial lake created by the ancient king. The lake has a fairly simple part of architecture, including steps to the lake. In the past, kings used to take boats to the middle of the lake for sightseeing, especially watching the sunrise on the lake, being a pleasure and relaxation. The Srah Srang Lake that tourists see today is somewhat devastated  due to the selection of materials and the creation and destruction of humans. Lake Srah Srang is always surrounded by trees. In the dry season, the lake does not have water so visitors can easily step out to the middle of the lake, to the bottom of the lake to visit, watch the wrecked antiquities in the past. Don't miss Cambodia travel to visit Srah Srang.
