Discover the wild beauty of Ngu Dong Ban On hidden on Moc Chau plateau

Legends said that there is a system of five caves called Ngu Dong Ban On in On Village, Mai Chau. It was first discovered in 2006 after a great flood in the area. Although it has been included in the top attractions in Moc Chau Vietnam, the spot still keeps its original wild beauty.
It is because these caves are hidden deep in the village and the roadway is still challenging, but not as hard as the one to Pha Luong Peak. Most of them are small and winding dirt roads that locals made by themselves. However, tourists will have the chance to enjoy the fresh atmosphere on the endless green hills of tea. Moreover, the area is always covered with flowers in full colors regardless of any season in the year. All can heal your mind immediately after the time of hard work in daily life. 

The complex of Ngu Dong Ban On Moc Chau has four main caves located on one hill. Especially, the forth is located separately from the others so that not a lot of tourists visit it. It takes you all day to discover the attraction because of the challenging journey alongside the road. There is the only house set up on the road to the caves. The locals have made it a stop for residents going up the mountains. Many tourists also take the chance to have a break during the experience. It is also worth noting that tourists should have a careful preparation of food and drink, as well as medicines because the attraction is separated from the outside.

After a long time of traveling, the first impression about the complex is the caves are quite deep. You will certainly get surprised at the majestic beauty inside the caves. Right at the mouth, there is the Au Co Queen altar where Thai ethnic minority usually come to pray at Tet holiday. Entering deep into the cave, you will see a great number of stalactites sparking under gentle lights. They are in different shapes and sizes. Up to your imagination, they may be in different appearances. The construction will show you how much magic Mother Nature can create in every corner of the world. It is not convenient for tourists because of the lack of light systems in some corners. However, it makes the attraction much more mysterious.
