Pick up at your hotel and take you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at at 9:30 PM to get to Lao Cai Station. Kick off Sapa train tour.

Start the second day of Sapa trekking tours 5 days with a 4-hour trek of 10 km through 3 villages.

Arrive in Lao Cat at 6:00 AM. Pick up at Laocai Station early in the morning by bus.

Lao Cai and Sapa are two important cities within the province at the border with China; the former is well known as key trading post and the latter is hill station famous for tourism, in the Northwest region of Vietnam

Sapa is one of the main market towns in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao (Yao), Giáy, Pho Lu, and Tay live.

At 11:00 AM, take a car to the first village of the black H'mong (Ma Tra, trekking at the easy level: 4km - 2,5 hours), walk around to visit villagers and the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the old days.
 

Have lunch in a restaurant.

In the afternoon, take the path along the valley between mountains to get to Laochai village (total trekking at the average level: 11km - 4hours).

Continue going to Tavan village to visit the Dzay minority. It is located far from Sapa less than 10 kilometers, Ta Van - a village of Lao Cai province is lying peacefully in the valley of Muong Hoa, residents are mainly the H'Mong ethnic, Giay, and Red Dao... with approximately 1000 people

Keep Sapa tour trekking 5 days by going to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority through paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. It offers travelers gorgeous view of mountain and rice paddy fields at the other side of Muong Hoa Valley in Sapa in Vietnam.

Cross Muong Hoa River, (the valley Muong Hoa has the beautiful Muong Hoa River, which flows across the small town and rice fields of the ethnic minority people of H’Mong, Dao and many others. Located on the sides of the river are the small towns of Lao Chai, Ta Van and Hau Thao) up the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong, also located along Muong Hoa Valley like Lao Chai and Ta Van but Su Pan commune can be referred to as “mountainous commune”.

Occupying the highland on the east side of the main road about 17 Km from Sapa town, Su Pan including 4 small hamlets of the Black H’mong and Red Zao looks down to the Muong Hoa Valley and is one of the poorest commune to tour Sapa due to the thin and poor soil. Walking uphill from the road, one can see rudimentary houses built on the rocky farmland where the locals cultivate corn for their staple food.

Get back to Sapa by car. On the way back, enjoy a visit to the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carving.

After breakfast, free time to discover Sapa town.

15h00: Go on trekking tour in Sapa by taking a visit by private car to Ta Phin village with the discovery of Red Dzao then go back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi.
