Discovery of Trang An grottoes and Cuc Phuong national park tour | 2 days 1 night

In the morning we leave Hanoi for Cuc Phuong national park tour which is 130km south of Hanoi.

Upon arrival in the national park, we visit the Primate Rescue Centre, which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, breeding, research and conservation of the endangered primates of Vietnam. From here we drive further to the centre of the national park where we start our real Cuc Phuong tour by jungle trek through the national park.
 
A national park ranger will be our on-site guide who makes sure that we do not get lost and he will tell us about the flora and fauna of the park.

After 6-hour trek with lots of descents and ascents on jungle trails, we make the last climb downhill to a peaceful valley and reach the village of Khanh, home to Muong ethnic minority.

We will have dinner and spend our night with a family in their traditional house-on-still.
 

After breakfast we say goodbye to the hosts and move for Trang An tour. Apart from the historical importance, the area is naturally beautiful, referred to many as the “dry Halong Bay,” with limestone peaks and fertile green valleys. This plays a prevailing role in Cuc Phuong tourism attraction.
 
After lunch, take the amazing Trang An grottoes tour which is a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross-water caves, and home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in the Red Book of Vietnam.

While rowing through Trang An grotto in the quiet, fresh air of the highlands, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent forested mountains upon which graze white goats, visitors enjoy a heaven on earth.
