The museum also serves to guide research, conservation, and technology that are specific to the work of an ethnographic museum. 

Discover Hoan Kiem Lake, meaning "Lake of the Returned Sword" , where emperor Lê Lợi was boating on the lake when his magic sword, Heaven's Will, was grabbed by a turtle who quickly disappeared into the depths.

Ngoc Son Temple, being built on the Jade Islet and dedicated to Confucian and Taoist philosophers and the national hero, Trần Hưng Đạo.

And enjoy a rickshaw tour in the Ancient Quarter with its antique shops.

 
Early in the evening, enjoy a water puppet show, a distinct Vietnamese art in which a split-bamboo screen obscures puppets which stand in water and are manipulated using long poles hidden beneath the water.

After breakfast, keep 18 days in Vietnam by driving to the Thai minority village of Mai Chau through Hoa Binh located in the heart of Tonkin.  Mai Chau, a mountainous region located in Hoa Binh province, approximately 135 km from Hanoi and 65 km from Hoa Binh,  is well known for its stilt houses. The type of stilt houses, or pile dwellings, they construct are called Thai stilt houses and are made of bamboo and timber.

On the way, stop to take beautiful photos.

After an early breakfast, transfer to Tam Coc, so-called “Inland Halong Bay”.

Arrive in Van Lam village and take a small sampan for a spectacular 2-hour cruise through numerous waterways admiring a beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice fields to the stunning Linh Coc - Hai Nham caves, located in Hai Nham village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, With spectacular natural scenery, the limestone range that stretches around to take the small valley created the charming landscape as captivating. Visitors sit about half an hour the boat was the first to cave called Temple cave.

The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. Ha Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bái Tử Long bay to the northeast, and Cat Ba islands to the southwest. These larger zones share similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate, and cultural characters.

On the way, stop to taste green bean cakes.

Arrive around 12h30 and take a junk for a memorable cruise through the mystical Halong Bay.

Visit islets & Sung Sot cave, means Surprised Cave or Amazing Cave is on Bo Hon Island and is one of the most spectacular and largest grottoes of Ha Long Bay. The mouth of the grotto is reached by ascending about a hundred stone steps.

 
If the weather is nice, enjoy a swim in the cool blue water of the Gulf of Tonkin.

Tortoise Island &  Luon cave, located in the northeast of Bo Hon Island. It's about 14 kilometers to the south from Bai Chay Beach. The perfect combination of lime-stone mountains and jade-green sea makes Luon Cave a unique site to visit on Halong Bay. Furthermore, Luon Cave is a preferred place of tourists for kayaking.

 
Bai Tu Long bay, which is the name of an area located in the east of Halong Bay Vietnam. Although it shares many similar geological characters with Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay is considered as off the beaten tourist track with many deserted and pristine beaches, no less impressive karst mountains. The Bay has a rich biodiversity with two ecosystems: a tropical, moist, evergreen rainforest ecosystem; and a marine and coastal ecosystem.

 
Bai Tho Mountain, being 106 m high, it runs along the coast, half on land and half in the sea. Sailing in the bay, one or two hundred meters from the mountain, one can see a poem carved on a flat stone cliff.

Palaces and pagodas, tombs and temples, culture and cuisine, history and heartbreak – there’s no shortage of poetic pairings to describe Hue (pronounced ‘hway’). A Unesco World Heritage site, this deeply evocative capital of the Nguyen emperors still resonates with the glories of imperial Vietnam, even though many of its finest buildings were destroyed during the American War.
